MAID VISA

Dubai is an ideal venue with a multitude of work openings. Opportunities are not limited to technical or business-related work; they often extend to persons employed as domestic helpers, easing the workload of working professionals to some degree. The demand for a housemaid in Dubai has risen sharply as a result of the increased strain of skilled employment. It helps you to hire a maid in Dubai on a full-time or part-time basis. The first step that such domestic helpers would take is to acquire a maid visa, which allows them to work as domestic workers and earn a living. Whether you're a company owner or an employee looking to hire a maid, you should be mindful of the criteria for the maid visa.

WHAT IS A MAID VISA?

A maid visa is a legal document that permits anyone to work as a domestic worker in another country. As previously said, Dubai has a website that enables people with a maid visa to serve as domestic helpers. The method of finding a Maid varies by country. Housemaid recruitment from the Philippines and Sri Lanka, for example, can be found here and here. Now, let's look at the guidelines provided by the Dubai government for Maid Visas, as well as the fees associated with the procedure.

In Dubai, there are several guidelines to obey when recruiting a housemaid:

  • A married couple should be the Sponsor. Bachelors are not allowed to employ a maid.

  • The Sponsor's pay should not be less than Dh 6000 or Dh 5000, plus the organization should have housing.

  • The salary to be paid should be in line with the region's wage system.

  • The maid should be at least 30 years old.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

The following are the documentation required to acquire a maid visa in Dubai or the rest of the UAE

  • Copy of maid's passport, as well as a passport-size photo with a white background

  • Passport Copy of the Sponsor and Spouse

  • Sponsor's original Emirates ID

  • Sponsor's original attested marriage certificate

  • Initial Labour Deal, which can be accessed from either the Typing Centre or the Tas'heel Centre.

  • The existence of two bedrooms is stated in the tenancy contract. This must be checked using the online Ejari System.

  • Bill for electricity and water under the Sponsor's name

  • The Sponsor's IBAN

  • An affidavit claiming that the Maid had no association with the Sponsor or the Sponsor's girlfriend.

To complete the process of securing a maid visa, all of the above papers must be submitted. Failure to do so would result in the maid visa not being released.

There are many other procedures related to the Maid Visa, such as Maid Visa Stamping, Maid Visa Termination, and Maid Visa Renewal, now that you have a clear understanding of what the Maid Visa is all about, including the cost, pay structure, and documentation needed.
